Lt. Wooten Artifacts on Display in August

The Columbia branch library hosted artifacts from the life and service of Lt. James Wooten during the month of August. These artifacts, including personal effects, commendations, and other paraphernalia, tell the story of Columbia’s own Lt. James Wooten — from bright local scholar to American hero in World War I to impetus for literary activism. You can read more about Lt.
